Christmas is special

Christmas has always been a special time for me and the family. Is special because we all come together and forget about all the other problems that are going on in the family or with life itself. On christmas eve everyone drives over to my house and we just sit there while whoever wants to cook, cooks us up a meal. We eat that and like my grandparents fall asleep, i am in a hurry to open up my presents and my parents are still doing the dishes wanting me to help out as well. Finally it is time to open the presents up and the way we do it is that each person opens a gift at a time, so that we know what everyone got and who it was from. This keeps us from getting to antsy anyway. After that we all just sit around and watch some TV until everyone leaves to go home. That is when i go to bed for the night hoping it snows by the next morning.
